Current voice recorder status: The recorder asks for microphone permission only after you press Record Answer. Clips remain in browser memory on your device and are not uploaded, stored, or transcribed by this public site. Secure upload and transcription require a server-side implementation and updated notice before collection begins.

How VoiceToLegacy.org handles prospective-author and Voice Discovery information.
Effective July 27, 2026.
Voice discovery submissions
When you submit a Voice Discovery through this website, your contact information, responses to the discovery prompts, and technical device information are transmitted to and stored in the Supabase lead system operated for Divinityx Publishing Company.
What we store
Stored information may include your name, email, phone number, city, state, preferred contact method, project concept, intended audience, desired impact, existing-material notes, preferred contact time, device information, and marketing attribution data such as UTM values or Google Ads click IDs when present. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the lead record; a cryptographic hash is used by the submission system for security, rate limiting, and duplicate detection.
Consent and current capability boundary
The public Voice Discovery form requires two permissions: contact permission, which authorizes Divinityx Publishing Company and Voice to Legacy™ to contact you about the inquiry, and privacy acknowledgment, which confirms that you reviewed this notice and understand that submission does not create a publishing agreement or guarantee acceptance. The current public website form does not record audio and does not itself collect or store authorization for recording, transcription, or AI processing. If a later guided session or accepted project uses any of those capabilities, applicable permissions and project-specific terms must be handled separately before use.
Intake information guidance
Do not submit Social Security numbers, complete banking information, passwords, unnecessary identity documents, or highly sensitive family, legal, medical, trauma, or minors' details in the preliminary public form. If your story includes sensitive material or privacy boundaries, tell your advisor during private follow-up so those boundaries can be documented in the appropriate project workflow.
Data retention
Prospective-author materials may be retained for project review, communication, rights assessment, legal compliance, duplicate detection, operational continuity, and publishing-related evaluation. Accepted projects receive project-specific privacy, recording, retention, and AI terms when applicable in the signed agreement or related project documentation.
Third-party services
Supabase, email, telephone, Zoom, hosting, and other services may operate under their own privacy and security terms. VoiceToLegacy.org does not represent a later recording, transcription, AI-processing, author-dashboard, or payment capability as live until that capability is actually implemented and authorized.
